Xperience

One could say that the Jazz vibe from New Orleans has landed in Brazil, spreading its lively rhythms and sassiness throughout the country.
The biggest metropolis in the country São Paulo is bubbling with new jazz bars or delicious restaurants with live jazz music. A few took an extra mile by replicating traits of New Orleans and its French Quarter with brick walls or staff with pork pie hats typically used between the 1920 and 1950 by black people in the U.S.

Apart from these lovely bars, there are various Jazz festivals happening around the country with Brazilian artists and with international guests, some of these festivals are:

1. “Tudo Jazz” in Ouro Preto, MG
2. “Festival Jazz & Blues” in Fortaleza, CE
3. “Copa Fest” in Rio de Janeiro, RJ
4. “Bourbon Festival Paraty” in Paraty, RJ
5. “Valadares Jazz Festival” in Valadares, MG

Who said you have to leave the country to hear and appreciate a good jazz concert?
